I’ve never really been a watch girl. Ever since cell phones became a hot commodity, I never saw the purpose of having a watch to look at to tell the time when I had my handy dandy cell phone. But lately, and mostly with help from Pinterest, I’ve been obsessed with chunky gold watches and layering them with bracelets for a totally chic look.
For me, a watch is all about the decoration and not for the functionality so I can totally see why someone would want to spend hundreds of dollars for a diamond encrusted designer watch for arm candy purposes only. My ideal watch is really big, probably a little looser on the wrist and definitely in gold. I prefer gold jewelry, period, just because I feel it compliments my skin color which has yellow/gold undertones.
